Processing and Logistics Manager

Scope of Position
This position is responsible for coordinating processing schedules for multiple agricultural commodities being processed at multiple facilities across four states, and responsible for the coordination of the efficient delivery of finished goods to the point of delivery. This person will work closely with the Director of Safety, Corporate Operations Manager, and Merchants on processing specific decisions. This position will be responsible for the analysis, coordination, and execution of logistical functions related to our pulse products. Periodic travel will be a requirement of this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directing the availability and allocation of raw agricultural materials and supplies
  • Coordinating the efficient delivery of finished products
  • Maintaining and developing positive business relationships with Company’s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to logistical and processing activities
  • Keeping current on logistical technology advances and implementing these as appropriate to continually improve our logistical processes and supply chain management
  • Developing an understanding of customers’ needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met
  • Assisting the team as needed to ensure proper inventory control
  • Reporting project plans, progress and results
  • Developing and implementing technical project management tools such as schedule and compliance metrics
  • Directing team activities by establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources
  • Working with transportation providers to ensure our transportation needs are met

 Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with focus in relevant fields
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience with experience in overseeing multiple facility operations
  • Agricultural commodity processing experience a must
